Jochen Jaser

Jochen Jaser is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in IT leadership and product management across various companies. As the Chief Information Officer at SUSE since March 2024, Jochen oversees the global IT operations, focusing on ITSM, AI, data analytics, business and infrastructure operations, and cyber defense. Prior to this role, Jochen served as CIO and a member of the management board at HRS Group, where responsibilities included product management and the secure operation of IT infrastructure. Jochen's prior experience also includes positions such as Co-Founder of Gastropay GmbH, CTO at BearingPoint, Business Unit Lead (interim) at Avira, and CEO/Chairman of the Board at Matrix42, where significant growth and international expansion were achieved. Jochen holds an Advanced Management & General Management Program degree from IESE Business School and a law degree from the University of Augsburg.
