Terry Smith

Terry Smith is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Global Partner Solutions at SUSE since September 2020. Prior to this role, Terry held various senior positions at Penguin Computing, including Vice President of Services and Senior Director of Engineering Services. Terry's extensive career also includes significant contributions at the University of North Florida, where roles ranged from Director of Academic Research Technology Services to Senior Research Scientist. As President and CEO of Teal Computer Solutions, Terry provided technical consulting and solutions design from August 1986 to June 2008. Additionally, Terry served as Technology Coordinator at NEFLIN and as an instructor in computer science, astronomy, and physics at the University of North Florida. Terry earned a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of North Florida between 2001 and 2004.
