Thomas Schraitle

Thomas Schraitle is a seasoned Documentation Specialist at SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, where responsibilities include planning, designing, and writing manuals for openSUSE and business-related products since June 2000. With expertise in documentation infrastructure, Thomas designs and maintains systems involving DTD/RNG, stylesheets, and scripts. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Developer and Consultant at Open Source Press and as a DocBook Consultant for TYPO3 Association. Thomas authored the second edition of the "DocBook-XML" book in German while also contributing to the first edition, as well as working as a degreed engineer for analytical chemistry at vedewa r.V. Thomas's education culminated in a Dipl.-Ing. in Chemistry from Reutlingen University.
