THE CONCEPT OF SUSHI-YA

In October 2015, Sushi YA was conceptualised with one humble spirit - to offer great Japanese cuisines at a valuable price point. Our name Sushi YA (寿司屋) simply meant 'sushi shop' in Japanese, reflecting our belief that customers should always feel at home without our restaurants while indulging in good food.

All Sushi YA outlets feature kaiten belt operations whereby handmade sushi are always replenished, offering guests the freshest and widest selection of sushi, chinmi and dessert at all times. Besides, bentos, sashimi and set meals are also available.

Thanks to unyielding support from our loyal customers, our flagship store in Raja Uda, Butterworth has achieved great success, giving us the motivation to constantly develop and grow. We are the fastest growing most affordable and quality sushi restaurant in Malaysia, and we will continue to offer a pleasing Japanese dining experience to every customer.

Currently, Sushi YA operates 6 outlets in Penang, 2 outlets in Kedah, 1 outlet in Selangor, 1 outlet in Perak and with future plans to open up more outlets where we are welcomed!
