Ernst Vasbinder

Ernst Vasbinder has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance sector. Ernst currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at SusPhos. Prior to this, they worked at Nord Stream 2 AG as the Manager Project Finance, overseeing the funding of a major gas pipeline project. Ernst was also the Chief Financial Officer at Gas for Europe GmbH, where they were responsible for setting up the finance function and managing operations. Earlier in their career, Vasbinder held positions such as Corporate Treasurer at N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, Treasurer at Friesland Bank, and Manager Treasury at AEGON. Overall, their experience demonstrates expertise in financial management, treasury, and project finance.

Ernst Vasbinder began their education in 1981 at Nyenrode Business University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in 1985. Following this, in 1991, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, completing it in 1992. More recently, in 2014, Vasbinder enrolled at the University of Groningen, where they are currently pursuing a Register Controller / Executive Master of Finance and Control degree.
