COST Action CA21150 "Parental Leave & Social Sustainability" is a network of social scientists and stakeholders interested in advancing research and knowledge about paid parenting leave policies and their significance for sustainable societies. 

Our activities are financially supported by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST).

We are
- developing a theoretical framework for understanding the relevance of PPL policies for the sustainability of societies (WG1 led by Ann-Zofie Duvander)

- identifying social inequalities through PPL policy designs in Europe and beyond (WG2 led by Johanna Lammi-Taskula)

- assessing the impact of PPL policy designs on children’s well-being and development (WG3 led by Guðný Björk Eydal)

- developing a future-oriented PPL terminology (WG4 led by Pedro Romero-Balsas)

- expanding the data for research on PPL policy designs and their effects on parents, children and societies (WG5 led by Cassandra Engeman)
