Michael Velenko

Michael Velenko is currently the Co-Founder and CTO at Sustained, where they focus on hiring talented engineers and optimizing their contributions. Previously, they held various roles at Twilio Inc., culminating as VP of Engineering for the Messaging Business Unit, overseeing a team of around 100 across Estonia and California. Michael also served as a Principal Development Manager at Microsoft, where they managed an engineering team responsible for call signaling and state issues across the Skype network. Additionally, their early career included significant contributions at Skype and Patton-Inalp Networks, along with a foundational education in Computer Science from the National Research University of Electronic Technology.
