Daniel South

Daniel South is a Principal Product Security Engineer at Zendesk, where they build and execute the Red Team program while conducting security reviews and penetration testing. With over 14 years of experience in information security, they previously held roles as a Senior and Staff Product Security Engineer at Zendesk, where they developed bug bounty and internal penetration testing programs. Daniel’s early career included significant positions as a Senior Information Security Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and a Junior Analyst at Envision Asset Management. They are also a member of the Advisory Board for SutroSec, contributing to the identification of organizational risks. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University-Fullerton.
