Cameron MacFarlane is a seasoned engineer specializing in embedded systems, hardware security, and automotive system design. Cameron studied Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria, focusing on embedded systems and cyber security, and conducted an undergraduate thesis on vulnerabilities in SHA-3. In the professional arena, Cameron has contributed to companies such as Tesla Motors, where they developed firmware for Tesla vehicles and worked on new programs, and currently serves as an Engineer in Residence at Sutter Hill Ventures, contemplating robotic innovations. Previously, Cameron founded Lumo Home, a smart light dimmer project, and held various roles, enhancing their expertise in both technical design and development.
