Peter Blum has extensive experience in the actuarial and financial sectors, serving at Suva since March 2005 in various leadership roles including Head of Actuarial Division, Chief Risk Officer, and Head of Treasury & Tactics. In addition, Peter holds a part-time lecturer position at ETH Zurich, teaching a course on Financial Risk Management in Social and Pension Insurance. Educational achievements include a PhD in Mathematics from ETH Zurich, a CFA from the CFA Institute, and certification as a fully qualified actuary from the Swiss Actuarial Association. Prior roles include positions at Converium and bbv Software Services AG, as well as foundational work at Landis & Gyr.
