Manoj has over two and a half decades of experience in the areas of Strategy, Corporate Development, M&A, Product Management and R&D Operations at global leadership positions with application software and financial services firms. In his last role at Misys plc, a leading software solutions provider to the financial services industry, Manoj was a member of the Senior Leadership Team that led the historic turnaround of the company, creating significant shareholder value through its multi year transformation. In addition to managing Global Operations, Manoj was also the Chief Executive of Misys India and a director on the boards of Misys Software Solutions, and Turaz Trade & Risk Management. At Misys India, Manoj was also responsible for managing Allscripts, the healthcare business of Misys before its divestiture into a separate company. Having facilitated the buy-out and subsequent integration of Misys into the portfolio of a Private Equity Firm, Manoj decided to change course in June 2013. He now works independently with business leaders, company boards, non-profit organisations and private equity investors. He has taken on the role of Angel Investor, mentor and coach to a number of start-up ventures, helping them formulate winning strategies.
Prior to his decade long stint with Misys, Manoj was with ICICI Bank, dealing in foreign exchange and derivatives. Manoj had joined ICICI Bank at its start up stage, working across multiple business areas through the 1990s as it evolved into the largest private sector bank in India.
Manoj is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and lives in Bangalore, India with his wife and two daughters.
