Michael Oates

Michael Oates has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to data center operations, systems administration, and network management. Michael is currently the Director of Data Center Operations at Suvoda, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at IBM from 2015 to 2022, where they served as an Operations Manager, responsible for managing the Systems Operations Center and Service Desk Teams for a Federal Contracts program. Michael also worked as a System Administrator at IBM, where they managed VMware systems and the network infrastructure of the Federal Contracts program. Michael Oates attended WVU Potomac State College starting in 1992, studying Computer Systems Analysis.
