David Phillips

David Phillips is currently the VP of Corporate Development at Svante and serves as a visiting research fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. With a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, David has held prominent roles in equity research and corporate development across various financial institutions, including HSBC and Aker Carbon Capture. Prior to their current position, they worked as Co-head of Oil & Gas Equity Research at HSBC and led investor relations at Aker Solutions. David's extensive experience in European chemicals and capital markets positions them as an influential figure in the energy sector.
