The Swedish Shipowners’ Association is an industry organisation working to increase awareness of Swedish shipping and to promote the interests of the maritime sector both nationally and internationally. Our key focus areas include environmental and climate responsibility, maritime safety and technology, research and innovation, competitiveness for sustainable growth, and skills supply.

Founded in 1906 as both an industry and employers’ organisation, the Swedish Shipowners’ Association has, since 2001, operated solely as an industry body, representing around 60 Swedish shipping companies with operations worldwide.
