Shum Singh has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Shum started their career as an Associate Director at Durlacher plc in 2000 and worked there until 2003. In 2003, they founded Agnitio Capital, an investment bank focused on digital media and games. Shum served as the Managing Director & Founder at Agnitio Capital, providing merger & acquisition advisory services to tech companies in Europe and North America.
In 2013, Shum Singh became a Seed Investor at Hutch Games Ltd, which was later acquired by MTG for up to $375 million. Shum continued to invest in various companies and serve as a Board Director, including Enad Global 7, Innova Intellectual Properties SARL (which was acquired by EG7 for €110 million), Heroic Labs, Dream Payments, Sviper GmbH (acquired by the Sandbox), Tower Pop Oy, and META Games. Throughout their career, Shum Singh has been involved in early-stage investments and serving on boards to support and guide these companies.
Shum Singh attended the United Nations International School from 1987 to 1992. Following this, from 1992 to 1996, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Chicago.
