Diego Rojas

Diego Rojas has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Diego began their career at Exceltec Business Solutions in 2009 as a .Net Developer, where they worked on various business software projects and led a startup project for recruitment. In 2010, they briefly worked at LAFISE Bank as a Full Stack Developer.

Diego then joined Citi as a Data Base Analyst, Production Support, where they gained experience with Sybase and SQL Server databases and worked on critical processes and jobs related to the credit card business.

In 2012, Diego joined Banco Promerica de Costa Rica as a .Net Developer, where they showcased management and leadership skills by supporting junior developers and assigning tasks. Diego also displayed expertise in Oracle databases, handling complex store procedures, packages, schemas, sequences, and functions.

Diego's next role was as a Senior .Net Engineer at EPIC Software Development in 2015. Here, they worked on complex front-end requirements using Angular versions One, Two, Four, and Seven, and utilized Entity Framework Code First.

Currently, Diego works at Svitla Systems, Inc. as a Senior Dotnet Developer. Their responsibilities involve creating and maintaining APIs, developing solutions at the database and cloud levels using SQL Server and Azure. Diego also collaborates with the team in creating requirements, conducting code reviews, and utilizing tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Git, and Postman.

Diego Rojas obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) from 2005 to 2009. Later, in 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Licenciature in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design from the Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica.
