Patrick Twist is currently the Regional Operations & Training Superintendent for the AMEA Region at Svitzer. They have extensive experience in maritime operations, having held positions such as Towage Superintendent and Operations Manager at Forth Ports Limited from 2016 to 2018, and various roles including Chief Mate at North Star and multiple officer positions at Holland America Line. Patrick also served as 1st Officer at Disney Cruise Line for a short period from 2024 to 2025. They obtained their Chief Mate Unlimited License and NVQ Level 4 in Nautical Science from South Tyneside College between 2010 and 2011.
