Tim Hodgson

Tim Hodgson is a Chief Engineer at Svitzer, where they have worked for 28 years, primarily focused on the monitoring and maintenance of tugboats' engines and related systems. Tim's experience includes extensive work with various engine types and propulsion systems, as well as a strong background in safety procedures and emergency drills on board. Before their current role, Tim served as a Mechanical Technician with I.C.I and British Steel after completing an O.N.C. in Mechanical Engineering at Longlands College. Tim began their career as a deckhand, gaining foundational skills that contribute to their comprehensive understanding of tug operations.
