SVP Science Fund (SSF) is a, principal led deep science investment platform, designed to build, own, and commercialize scientific and technological intellectual property across multiple strategic sectors.

The fund is founded on the recognition of a structural gap in India, where strong scientific and engineering talent remains undercapitalized, under-commercialized, or lost to global markets. SSF addresses this by integrating capital, infrastructure, and execution into a unified platform that converts talent, research, innovation, and aspiration into scalable, revenue generating assets.

SSF integrates multiple core pillars, including a world-class R&D and incubation ecosystem to translate research into market-aligned products, an IP warehouse to systematically build, own, and license molecules, processes, and scientific assets, a high-quality experiential skilling layer, and a dedicated agri-biotech vertical focused on developing high-yield, climate-resilient seeds and improving agricultural productivity in India. Together, these pillars enable a focused effort to reverse brain drain by attracting top Indian-origin scientific talent with capital, infrastructure, and execution capability.

This model reduces go-to-market risk, accelerates commercialization, and enables cross-sector compounding of value. Positioned as an industrial-scale platform rather than a traditional fund, SSF combines capital, infrastructure, and scientific governance to build a portfolio of defensible, cash-generating assets, with the long-term objective of establishing India as a global hub for deep science innovation and a net exporter of high-value scientific IP.
