John Morabito

Mr. Morabito is a member of the U.S. investment team and leads the firm’s day-to-day global aircraft investing activities.

Prior to joining SVPGlobal, Mr. Morabito served as Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at EnTrust Global’s Blue Sky Aviation Funds, which focused on relative value investments in the commercial aviation industry. From 2001 to 2017, Mr. Morabito worked at CIT Group, Inc., most recently serving as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Morabito served on the senior leadership team of CIT Aerospace, an aviation portfolio with over $10 billion in aircraft assets on lease to airlines globally. In 2017, Mr. Morabito played an instrumental role in selling the CIT Aerospace business to HNA Group.

Mr. Morabito received a BS in Business Administration and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
