Tom Hanson

Tom Hanson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the telecommunications industry. Tom started their career at AT&T Bell Labs as a Member Technical Staff and then moved on to Lucent Technologies as an Offer Manager. Following that, they worked at Emperative, Inc as a Sr. Product Manager. Tom then joined Avaya/Voice Self Service as a CTO Technical Manager and later became a Sr. Product Manager. After that, they joined RightNow Technologies as a Product Manager, specifically focused on the Contact Center of Excellence. Tom then moved to Polycom as a Sr. Product Manager. Continuing their career, Tom joined Avaya as the Director of Product Management for Automated Solutions. Here, they played an instrumental role in growing overall market share by 40% and reclaiming the #1 North America market share. Alongside, they maintained #1 worldwide market share for IVR and Voice Portals through the Avaya Aura Experience Portal. Their expertise was acknowledged by Gartner Group, which highly recommended Avaya's solution in their Enterprise Voice Portals Marketscope report. Currently, Tom holds the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Swampfox Technologies, Inc., where they specialize in delivering automated inbound and outbound engagement solutions for contact centers and complex business processes.

Tom Hanson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bemidji State University between 1983 and 1987. Tom then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University from 1987 to 1989.
