Tim Hyde

CEO / Co-Founding Director at SWAN Systems

Tim Hyde has extensive experience in the agricultural industry. Tim began their career in 1993 as Manager of Wooramel Horticultural Producers, pioneering the Western Australian northern table grape industry. In 2005, they took on a role as Short Term Specialist (Irrigated Agriculture) at the Department of Agriculture Western Australia. That same year, they were also appointed Managing Director of North West Agricultural Group, where they directed strategic, varietal and market positioning, technical, agronomic, tactical marketing and operational planning. In 2006, they became a Board Member and Chairperson of Sweeter Banana Co Operative, formulating and managing brand, marketing and communication strategies. From 2009 to 2011, they were Principal Consultant at AFS Agriculture, providing research-based insight to aid a broad range of irrigation enterprises. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Director at Fresh Produce Group Western Australia, defining and executing the strategic plan to advance the company’s vision. Since 2016, they have been CEO and Co-Founding Director at SWAN Systems, applying comprehensive expertise to shape, manage and execute growth strategies.

Tim Hyde obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture and Irrigation from the University of Adelaide between 1990 and 1992. Tim has also obtained additional certifications, including the Gascoyne Regional Leadership Program from Leadership Western Australia in 2011, the Australian Institute of Company Directors Directors Course, the Executive Development Program from Rabobank, and the PMA A-NZ Produce Executive Program from the Institute of Food and Grocery Management.
