Michael Frank

Algorithm Researcher at Swapp

Michael Frank has been working in the field of algorithm research since 2021, when they joined Swapp as an Algorithm Researcher. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2021, they worked at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they held the roles of Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, and Researcher. As a Researcher, they focused on hard combinatorial problem instances, primarily circuit minimization, extremal graphs and minimal error correcting code sets. Michael also developed techniques using parallelization and AI tools, primarily search and modelling, to solve hard combinatorial problem instances.

Michael Frank obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2014. Michael then went on to receive their Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university in 2016. Finally, in 2020, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
