After several years of road trips in France, Europe and the Americas, Sandrine & Julien decided to create what some members today call "the HomeExchange of recreational vehicle"...

Drawing on their personal and family experience, they used their confinement in South America to set up :
- a quick & easy alternative to shipping your own vehicle by sea 🚢
- a more economical solution to avoid the need to rent a vehicle once we reach our destination ✈️

Today, the owner of a camper van, motorhome, pickup truck or 4x4 roof tent can travel :
- differently, thanks to the sharing economy ♻️
- with full trust, by joining a community of owners only 🤝
- in a vehicle adapted to local infrastructures 🎟️
- for almost free💰

SwapTheRoad is a real trusted third party for its members, offering them authentic experiences based on sharing, and promoting the practice of more inclusive and environmentally-friendly tourism.
