David Brooks

David Brooks is a Cyber Security Lead at SWARCO since January 2020, responsible for investigating security incidents, managing patching and device hardening, conducting security assessments, and overseeing Cyber Essentials Plus Accreditation while aligning with ISO27001 standards. Previously, as an IT Manager, David managed IT infrastructure for approximately 400 users across multiple sites in the UK and led a team of two, further enhancing managerial and information security skills. David's earlier experience includes roles as a System Administrator at Kennedy Scott Ltd, where significant achievements included deploying an active directory structure, and as an IT Apprentice, assisting with first-line support and new office setups. David's career began at JD Wetherspoon, where duties as a Duty Manager involved overseeing daily operations and staff management.
