John Stanway

John Stanway serves as the President of Children's Healthcare Australasia and has been on the Board for four years, including two years in the presidential role. They recently assumed the position of Strategic Adviser for Health at the National Disability Insurance Agency. John's previous full-time role was as Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Children’s Hospital, a position they held from April 2017 until July 2021, after serving as Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer for over a decade. Additionally, John has held various senior management roles, including at the Transport Accident Commission and General Motors Holden, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. They possess a double major in Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations, and have a strong background in leadership, business development, and human resource management.
