Patrick ONeill

Patrick ONeill is a founding partner with Sway Ventures, where he leads marketing and investor relations for the firm. In addition to his role as partner, Patrick works with portfolio companies on marketing strategy and growth. Prior to joining Sway Ventures, Patrick was the CMO for a multifamily office and marketing advisor to a seventh generation single family office, where he was responsible for supporting marketing across private equity and venture portfolio investments. As part of his private equity and venture capital experience, Patrick has worked with numerous successful, venture-backed startups across varying marketing roles, such as: marketing automation technical consultant for PacketVideo (subsidiary of NTT DOCOMO, acquired by Lynx Technologies), marketing and communications consultant to isightpartners (acquired by NASDAQ: FEYE), marketing and digital media consultant to Evantix (acquired by Optiv Security), and video and multimedia coordinator to Arbor Networks (acquired by NASDAQ: NTCT).

Patrick holds dual B.S. degrees in economics and marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, an MBA, with a focus on international marketing from San Diego State University, and a graduate certificate in behavioural economics from the London School of Economics.
