Tom Gears

Tom Gears has had a long and successful career at SWBR. Tom joined the company in 1988 as a Senior Project Architect and worked in that role until 1997. Tom then became a Principal at SWBR, a position they held for almost 20 years. In 2016, they were appointed President of the company, where they continue to lead with expertise and innovation. SWBR is a highly respected design firm specializing in architecture, landscape architecture, structural engineering, and interior design, with a focus on sustainability, education, housing, corporate/industrial, and municipal design.

Tom Gears obtained their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Kent State University between 1982 and 1987.
