Yannic Scheffel

Yannic Scheffel has extensive work experience in the field of UX and UI design. Yannic began their career as a freelance UI/UX designer in 2017, providing their services to various Berlin-based companies and associations. During this time, they also worked as a designer at Boana, a design studio specializing in digital product and brand experiences. At Boana, they worked with clients such as Pulselocker, a music streaming service for DJs.

In 2014, Yannic joined oddity as a working student, gaining valuable experience in the field. Yannic then moved on to NowDiscover in 2015, where they provided support in UI design.

In 2017, Yannic joined Goodpatch as a working student in UX/UI design. Yannic later became a design intern and then a UX/UI design working student. At Goodpatch, they had the opportunity to work with a German insurance company and help them with their digital transformation.

In 2020, Yannic joined MVP Factory as a digital product designer. Yannic also served as a working student in UX/UI design, where they gained hands-on experience in the field.

In 2021, Yannic joined Taikonauten as a UX designer, where they worked until 2023.

Most recently, in 2023, Yannic joined Sweap as a product manager.

Yannic Scheffel pursued their education at various institutions. Beginning in 2014, they attended Technische Universität Berlin and studied Informatik until 2015. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2021, they enrolled at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Design. Additionally, in 2018 to 2019, Yannic participated in an exchange program at the National Institute of Design, specifically focusing on Interaction Design at the Bengaluru Campus. Although the degree obtained from the National Institute of Design is not stated, it can be inferred that Yannic gained valuable experience in this field through their exchange semester.
