Max Joy

Max Joy is the current President of Sweco UK. Max has over 28 years of experience in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME), where they have served on military operations and undertaken various roles in Equipment Capability, Transformation Management, and Programme Management.

In 2016, Max was appointed OBE and is also a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE).

Max Joy attended the Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC) for command and leadership training. Max then went on to earn their Master of Science (MSc) in Defence Technology from the Defence Academy. Joy also has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science (RMCS). Max completed the Standard Military Course 881 at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). Joy also attended Welbeck College and Braunton Comprehensive School, North Devon.

Max Joy reports to Åsa Bergman, CEO. Max Joy works with Olof Stålnacke - CFO, Sam Saatchi - Chief Strategy Officer, and Ann-Louise Lökholm Klasson - CEO, Sweco Sweden.
