Peter Ekström is currently the Team Leader for Power Systems Analysis at Sweco Energy AB, a role held since 2018. They previously worked as a Consultant in Power and Grid at Svenska Energihuset AB from 1997 to 2008, and later served as Group Manager for Power and Grid at Grontmij AB Sverige from 2008 to 2015. Additionally, Peter has been the Group Manager for Powergrid East 2 at SWECO Energuide AB since 2016. They earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Kungliga tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 1991 to 1997.
