Quentin Siraut has had a long and varied career in the software engineering and technology industry. Quentin began their career in 2004 as a DB2 Everyplace Build Process Administrator at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory. In 2005, they worked as a Software Engineer at the SOLEIL Synchrotron in France. From 2006 to 2022, they worked at IBM in various roles, including Energy & Utilities Technical Pre-sales, Solutions Architect - Smart Water, IBM/VEOLIA Waternamics Solution Developer, and IBM Cloud Garage. In 2022, they joined SWEEP as a Solution Engineer, where they are helping customers reduce their carbon emissions.
Quentin Siraut obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon between 1999 and 2004. Subsequently, they have obtained several certifications, including Watson Assistant Foundations from IBM in March 2019, Applied AI with DeepLearning, IBM Watson IoT Data Science Certificate by IBM on Coursera in March 2018, Watson Conversation Service Methodology from IBM in January 2018, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in December 2017, IBM Blockchain Essentials from IBM in September 2017, A developer's guide to Exploring and Visualizing IoT Data by IBM on Coursera in March 2017, IBM Watson Data Platform from IBM in January 2017, Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2016, and Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach from Coursera Course Certificates in June 2016.
