The Swedish Latin American Chamber of Commerce (SWELAC) serves as a strategic business bridge between Sweden and Latin America. Originally founded as the Swedish Central American Chamber of Commerce (SWECA), the organization has since expanded its scope to include the entire Latin American region.

Our mission is to support Swedish companies in exploring, entering, and thriving in Latin American markets by providing:

Relevant market intelligence

Curated business networks and local contacts

Tailored support for trade and investment initiatives

SWELAC operates with the backing of ambassadors, consuls, and institutional partners across the region. This diplomatic support ensures privileged access to official networks and reinforces our members’ credibility and connections in each country.

With a growing community of members and partners, SWELAC continues to promote sustainable, mutually beneficial trade relations between Sweden and Latin America—anchored in trust, transparency, and long-term value.
