SWFTMENT (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2020 in Cape Town, South Africa, and provides expert writing guidance to technology businesses globally. SWFTMENT took off due to an increase in online-related business activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. The adoption of “work-from-home” breathed new light into the importance of good documentation and technical writing for effective communication between businesses and consumers.

The company was created by Ryan Stevens, a robotics engineer, with industry experience writing on multiple technical subject matters in various formats (quality standards, user manuals, in-depth research reports, product documentation/specifications, user manuals, brochures, website articles/blogs, and White Papers, and website copywriting, to name a few).

Initially, SWFTMENT focused on funded start-ups requiring technical documentation, White Papers, in-app software content, and user guides. SWFTMENT then branched out into other business segments and secured several high-end clients in the financial, engineering, and software sector. SWFTMENT now focuses primarily on technology businesses.
