User Experience Design

UXD at SW Global

User Experience Design has worked as a UXD at SW Global since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Agile Senior User Experience Designer at Southwest Airlines from January 2019 to April 2021. In this role, they worked in a fast-paced Agile team to identify high-impact enhancements and new features to add to Southwest's desktop channel. They also audited end-to-end omnichannel experiences and baselined Southwest's performance against competitors and best-in-class ecommerce platforms. Additionally, they served as a subject matter expert for Southwest's unique distribution model and ensured that UX best practices were being followed. User Experience Design also co-led the Southwest Design Network to ensure designers had a platform for continuing education, community, and company-wide digital design awareness.

Prior to their role as Agile Senior User Experience Designer, User Experience Design served as a Senior User Experience Designer at Southwest Airlines from May 2015 to January 2019. In this role, they created, maintained, and oversaw the user experience design implementation for Southwest Customer-facing digital experiences. They also provided guidance to the UX design team and collaborated with digital strategists, product managers, technology teams, outside agencies, and executives on interactive development projects.

User Experience Design began their career at Southwest Airlines as a Senior Web Designer in October 2011 and held this role until June 2015.
