Shane Benoit

Shane Benoit, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as the Manager of Technical Accounting at Swift Current Energy since December 2023. Prior to this role, a significant tenure at Deloitte from September 2019 to October 2023 included positions as Audit & Assurance Senior, Senior Assistant, and Assistant, along with an internship in Audit & Assurance in early 2018. Shane's experience also encompasses a role as a Management Consultant at Engineering and Maintenance Solutions Pty Ltd in mid-2017, where direct collaboration with the Managing Director involved comprehensive reviews of financial processes and the establishment of metrics to enhance financial performance. An academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both earned from Lamar University, with involvement as a Research Assistant in the Department of Family & Consumer Sciences during the earlier part of this educational journey.
