What started in Paducah, Kentucky in 1979 as a mechanical contracting company under the name Swift and Staley Mechanical Contractors has today evolved into Swift & Staley Incorporated (SSI) headquartered in Paducah, Kentucky while also operating in Portsmouth, Ohio.

In the beginning, Swift & Staley worked as a construction contractor in the Purchase Area on projects such as bridges, roads, cemeteries and sewage lines. After building years of experience and developing a reputation for excellent performance, Swift & Staley’s services expanded into electrical and general contracting.

Today, Swift & Staley is a 100% employee owned contracting company specializing in completing projects early and under budget.  Our daily mission is to be the best contracting service we can possibly be for our clientele, while maintaining exceptional quality and fostering a safe work environment at all time.
