Angeline Tan

Angeline Tan is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in trade finance and standards development. Currently serving as Lead Standards Specialist at SWIFT since May 2012, Angeline represents the organization in key industry groups, supports the enhancement of message standards for trade services, and designs training programs for internal and external stakeholders. Prior to SWIFT, Angeline held the position of Head of Trade Finance at Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg, ensuring efficient operations and compliance while implementing process improvements. Additional experience includes roles at T T International Limited, OCBC Bank, and Kwangtung Provincial Bank, where responsibilities ranged from managing trade finance operations to heading teams and improving workflow. Angeline holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management Studies from the University of London, as well as diplomas in Banking and Finance and Business Administration.
