Astrid Coppens

Astrid Coppens serves as the Global Head of Technology Platform Readiness and Continuity at SWIFT, with extensive experience in IT for business, technology transformation, operational excellence, crisis management, and IT risk management. Astrid has held multiple leadership roles within SWIFT, including Global Head of Cloud and Interfaces and Global Account Director, overseeing significant initiatives such as the successful commercial launch of the SWIFT gpi in the EMEA region. In addition to technical roles, Astrid is actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion in the finance sector as a member of the Strategic Committee and founder of the CEO Stream at WoMen in Finance Belgium. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven and various executive programs focused on governance, risk, and entrepreneurship from notable institutions.
