Bernard Maes has work experience in multiple roles at different companies. Bernard started their career as a Developer at Alcatel Bell-ITS in 1989. Bernard then joined SWIFT in 1992 and worked as a Software Developer until 2004. From 2004 to 2017, they were the Center of expertise Manager at SWIFT. After that, they became the Information Technology Manager at SWIFT from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working at SWIFT as the Customer centric development stream lead, starting from May 2019.
Bernard Maes obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Namur, where they studied from 1982 to 1987. Bernard also holds a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, which was obtained in 2023.
