Karim T.

Karim T. has extensive work experience in the field of computer networking. Karim has worked as an Engineering Manager/Chapter Lead at Swift since 2023. Prior to that, Karim worked as a Senior Network Dev Engineer at ING from 2018 to 2023. Karim also has experience as a Network Engineer at Aramco Overseas Company from 2015 to 2018. From 2012 to 2015, Karim worked as a Pre-sales Systems Engineer at Juniper Networks, where they provided technical support and developed networking solutions. Karim has also held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in 2012 and as a Research Associate and Assistant at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Karim worked as a Visiting PhD Student at NEC Europe Ltd in 2011 and as a Web Developer intern at Proxym-IT in 2006.

Karim T. holds a PhD in Telecommunications, which they obtained from Scuola Superiore 'Sant' Anna' di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento between 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at the same institution from 2006 to 2007. Karim also earned their Engineer degree in Telecommunications from Université du 7 novembre à Carthage from 2001 to 2006. In terms of certifications, they obtained various certifications in networking and security, such as JNCIA-SEC, JNCIP-SEC, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIA-Junos, CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNP-RS, and Microsoft Azure certifications.
