Lynn Walker

Lynn Walker has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Lynn currently works as the Lead Security Management at Swift since 2021. Prior to this, they served at the University of Virginia in various roles including Senior IT Auditor, Financial Data Analyst, IT Projects Resource Specialist, Technical Analyst, Information Technology Specialist, and Technical Instructor for different departments and projects from 1997 to 2021. Additionally, Lynn has also worked as an Employee Relations Assistant at the University of Virginia from 1987 to 1990.

Lynn Walker earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in STEM Occupational and Technical Studies with a concentration in IT from Old Dominion University in 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Lynn also holds several certifications, including ISO 27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) from IBITGQ in 2020, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2019, COSO Internal Control Certificate from the Institute Of Internal Auditors - North America in 2018, Project Management - Lean Process Certified (PM-LPC) from the Management and Strategy Institute in 2016, and Certified Technical Instructor from the University of Virginia in 1998.
