Michaela Barnett

Michaela Barnett is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Red Team Operator at Swift, where responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the Red Team infrastructure, conducting penetration testing, and providing insights for security improvements. Michaela is also the Founder and Executive Director of Blacks in Cybersecurity™, dedicated to promoting the participation of the Black community in the field. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst and Penetration Tester at Accenture Federal Services, where responsibilities involved conducting security assessments and managing system administration tasks. Earlier career positions included research roles at Delaware State University focusing on cybersecurity projects, along with an internship at Spectrum gaining exposure to Telephony systems. Michaela obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Delaware State University.
