Pierre Deridder

Pierre Deridder is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in managing legal counsel teams and compliance functions at a global level. Currently serving as the Global co-Head of Legal Counsels at Swift, Pierre oversees critical areas such as international sanctions, data protection, and corporate investigations as the Global Head of Compliance and Company Lawyer. Prior to this role, Pierre held positions at GE Capital as the Legal & Compliance Manager for Benelux and played significant roles in governance and operational excellence. Pierre's career also includes founding Smartview, managing commercial teams at ING, and serving as a Business Analyst at Deloitte. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees in Law and Computer and Information Sciences from respected institutions in Belgium.
