Yami Shimrah

Yami Shimrah has a diverse work experience in the financial and technology sectors. They started their career at Hewlett-Packard as an Associate Software Engineer, providing SWIFT support. They then joined Barclays Bank as a SWIFT Payments Analyst. After that, Yami worked at Swift, a global financial messaging provider, in various roles including Customer Engineer, Business Continuity and Change Manager, Lead Cyber Security Specialist, and Head of Counterparty Risk Management & Data Analytics. Their responsibilities at Swift included leading teams, providing strategic insights, enhancing customer experience, ensuring successful onboarding, and delivering security solutions. Yami also served as the Gender Equality Co-Lead at Swift.

Yami Shimrah holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, obtained between 2022 and 2024. In 2011-2012, Yami completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in E Business Management from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology. Earlier, in the years 2003-2007, Yami obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur. Additionally, Yami has obtained certifications in "Managing Customer Value With Python" from INSEAD and as a "Certified Sivananda Yoga Teacher" from Sivananda Yoga Rishikesh.
