Zachary Wright

Zachary Wright began their career in 2009 as a Summer Research Intern at the Boston Biomedical Research Institute, where they were tasked with characterizing and analyzing gene expression of facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) patient fibroblasts and steps toward an FSHD cell model. In 2015, they founded and became the CEO of SwiftSCIENCE, a company dedicated to bringing high technology and medical research together to drive down costs and increase the time researchers spend doing actual research. In 2018, they began working as a Researcher at West Virginia University.

Zachary Wright attended West Virginia University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General. Zachary then attended West Virginia University School of Medicine from 2011 to 2018, where they earned an M.D./Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences.
