Lynette Maara

Lynette Maara has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Lynette began their career at Sanlam Investments as an Intern, where they were responsible for investment and economic analysis as well as updating client portfolios. In 2018, they moved to Mitie as a Project Assistant Accountant, where they produced key weekly reports for senior managers, analysed financial data, completed statement reconciliations for key suppliers, and assisted in payment run approvals. In 2019, they joined Techprescribed Ltd as a Project Manager, where they developed and executed project plans, ensured contract deliverables were delivered within project timelines, and oversaw the UAT process during software and system development and testing. In 2020, they moved to Electrolux as a Project Manager PMO- Asia Pacific. Currently, they are a Senior Project Manager: Africa Implementation at SwiftAnt.

Lynette Maara's education history includes a Master of Science in Economics, Finance and Management from the University of Bristol, which they completed in 2019. Lynette has also completed certificates in Python Programming for Beginners and Data Analytics for Managers from the University of Michigan in 2019. Lynette holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Financial Economics from Strathmore University, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, they completed their high school studies at Moi Girls' Secondary School in 2012. Lynette has also obtained certifications in PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation & Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2022, Become a Portfolio Manager from LinkedIn in October 2021, and Project Portfolio Management Foundations from LinkedIn in August 2021.
