Sylwia K.

Sylwia K. has extensive work experience in project management, specifically in the IT industry. Sylwia began their career in 2012 as an IT and Management Trainee at AFD Armaturen Fertigungs-und Dienstleistungs GmbH. Sylwia then worked as a Management Trainee at RESPER and later as an Associate Project Manager at Cyber LMJ. In 2013, they became a Senior Project Development Manager at PS.

In 2014, Sylwia joined Unilever, where they gained experience as a Global Junior Brand Development Manager for Zendium and as a European Junior Brand Development Manager for Knorr. Their responsibilities included participating in launch processes, managing marketing elements, monitoring brand performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Sylwia moved on to work as a Senior Project Manager at Grace Charity Foundation and iDharavi Foundation in 2016 before joining Netguru in 2018 as a Project Manager. At Netguru, Sylwia managed diverse agile IT projects, coordinated design and software solutions, motivated and guided project teams, resolved conflicts, and mentored less experienced Project Managers. Sylwia also had expertise in various business models and actively assisted clients in selecting suitable solutions.

In 2021, Sylwia transitioned to Swing Development (SwingDev), where they initially served as a Project Manager before being promoted to Senior Project Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Engineering Project Manager at Hippo Insurance.

Sylwia K. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wroclaw in 2010. Sylwia then pursued a Master's degree in Management and Business Information Systems from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology from 2011 to 2013. In 2015, they received a certificate in Introduction to Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam. Sylwia later obtained a certificate in Psychology at work from The University of Western Australia in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Sylwia K. has obtained several certifications. Sylwia completed courses in Reviews & Metrics for Software Improvements, Introduction to Software Product Management, and Software Processes and Agile Practices from the University of Alberta in 2020. Sylwia also completed a course in Structuring Machine Learning Projects from deeplearning.ai in 2020. Furthermore, they obtained certifications as a Professional Scrum Master I and a Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org in 2019.
