Stephen Grech

Stephen Grech has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Stephen is currently employed as a Technical Project Manager at Swintt since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG, Microsoft Business Solutions Malta as a Project Team Leader from July 2017 to September 2022. Stephen also held the position of Team Lead - Marketing Technology at Betsson Group from April 2017 to July 2017.

Stephen's extensive experience at KPMG Crimsonwing includes roles such as Project Team Leader from August 2013 to March 2017, Technical Architect from December 2009 to July 2013, Senior Analyst Programmer from August 2008 to November 2009, Senior Programmer from April 2006 to August 2008, and Analyst/Programmer from August 2000 to March 2006.

Stephen has also worked as a Part-time Lecturer at Malta University Services Ltd, where they lectured students in IT Quality and Project Management from October 2005 to December 2007. In addition, Stephen served as a Part-time Tutor at Swatar Training Centre (STC) from July 2001 to July 2002. Stephen began their career as a Systems Administrator/Programmer at Gasan Management Services from September 1996 to July 2000, and briefly worked as a Programmer at Gasan Insurance Agency Ltd. from July 1996 to September 1996.

Stephen Grech's education history is as follows:

In 1996 to 1999, they attended Malta University Services Ltd. and obtained a Higher Diploma in Computing from IMIS. From 1999 to 2001, they continued their studies at Malta University Services Ltd. and acquired an IMIS Graduate Diploma in Computing.

In 2001 to 2003, Stephen attended the University of Greenwich and achieved a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Computing.

In 2012, they enrolled in Trigold / pmiQ and became an APMG PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management.

Stephen attended theknowledgeacademy in 2015 and obtained several certifications. Stephen completed Agile Practice and Agile for Business Analysts courses and also acquired the ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level certification in Software Testing. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Furthermore, in 2016, Stephen attended KnowledgeHut/Massimus and became a Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster.

Finally, in 2020, they attended KnowledgeHut and obtained the Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner certification.

Additional certifications earned by Stephen include the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in August 2020, the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in October 2016, and the PRINCE2 Practitioner from APMG International in March 2012. In June 2015, they acquired the ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from ISTQB and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from ITIL Certified.
