John O'Neil is currently the Chief Scientist at SWIRL, where they utilize AI, large language models, machine learning, and natural language processing to create secure conversations between users and their data. They have extensive experience in the fields of natural language processing, machine learning, and data science, having previously held positions such as Chief Data Scientist at Zscaler and Edgewise Networks, and Director of Language Processing at Lexeme/LingoMotors. John earned a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Harvard University, complementing their academic background with an A.B. in Physics and Astronomy. Their career spans various roles in technology companies focused on improving security and processing language across multiple applications.
